Traveling by Train

Traveling by train

From Dortmund Centre

At Dortmund central station take the urban railway S1 to university station (´Dortmund Universität´).
Alternatively, take a taxicab. You find a taxi rank at the southern exit. The drive takes about 20 minutes.

From Bochum

Drive with the urban railway S1 from Düsseldorf central station passing Bochum central station in direction to Dortmund until station Dortmund Universität.

Information on timetables are provided by the VRR.

From university station to the F&E building by the H-Bahn

Above the railway station, you find the H-Bahn station 'Universität S'. Take line 1 (every ten minutes) to station 'Technologie-Zentrum'. After leaving the station follow straight Emil-Figge-Straße. At the first intersection turn left onto Joseph-von-Fraunhofer-Straße. The cs building is located on the left side at the end of the street.
